Pregnant woman has unborn baby cut from her womb after responding to Craigslist baby clothes advert

A twisted attacker stabbed a pregnant woman and sliced her unborn tot from the womb after the victim answered an online advert for baby clothes.
The 26-year-old mother-to-be was lured to the home in Colorado by an advert on the internet site Craigslist.
A 34-year-old woman allegedly posted the advert offering baby clothes to sell, but when the victim arrived she was beaten and stabbed.

Mirror uk reports that the foetus was then cut from the prone woman and the attacker fled with it.
Longmont Police Commander Jeff Satur told CNN: "When she got here, she was assaulted and stabbed, and her baby was removed.

Police arrived at the home in Longmont, Colorado, at around 2.45pm after receiving reports of a woman screaming.

Ambulance crews arrived shortly after and immediately raced the woman to hospital where she is still recovering.
The victim, who did not know the attacker before yesterday, is expected to survive.
Police believe that after cutting the baby from the woman, the suspect rushed to a nearby hospital.

As she arrived covered in blood, the woman allegedly told doctors she had a miscarriage.
Tragically the baby died.
The woman was arrested at hospital on suspicion of attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault and child abuse knowingly and recklessly resulting in death.
Police revealed that the suspect, who has not been named, already has two children and was driven to the hospital by her husband.
He has not been arrested.
