Amaechi has been pressurizing me to release hardened criminals - Rivers CP

According to the the jonathan revolution group, the commissioner of police in rivers state said that the governor of the state Mr. Rotimi Amaechi has been pressurizing him to release hardened criminals.

I don't know about you but could this be true? Read what they wrote on their IG page after the cut...


"The commissioner of Rivers states police command has said that Amaechi has being raising false alarm against the command because they refuse to release hardened criminals involved in heinous crimes such as: murder, cult activities, unlawful possession of firearms, rape etc etc. Now we ask, why does Amaechi want those hudlums back on our streets a week to elections?
