A teenage boy killed in Kaduna over President Jonathan's Campaign billboard

A teenage boy has been killed in a row over a campaign billboard of President Goodluck Jonathan in Zangon Aya, Igabi local government of Kaduna State. Sama’ila Umar was stabbed in the back and later fell down a deep well after a brief argument over the erection of Jonathan’s billboard in the town.

Police confirmed the incident and said one Mohammed Suleiman was arrested. A source in Zangon Aya told Weekly Trust yesterday that the incident happened on Thursday at about 7pm. He said:

According to an eyewitness, this happened early this morning at Iya Iyesi Ota in Ogun state. Armed robbers had stormed the area, but things turned against them when the entire neighbourhood descended on them instead. This armed robber was caught and tortured before he was handed over to the Nigerian police.

Nigerian woman gang raped by four men in India

 A 35-year-old Nigerian woman, who has been staying in India on a tourist visa, was kidnapped and gang-raped by four Indian men in Sacket area of New Delhi on friday. 

According to police reports, she was kidnapped outside a popular shopping mall in New Delhi’s Saket area before bundling her into a car. They then drove for

around half an hour, during which time the alleged gang-rape took place, before pushing her out of the moving vehicle.

 to storm their hideout in San­go-Ota area of Ogun State where they arrested one of the wives, Deborah while Awosina and the other wives fled the compound. According to the police, their modus operandi is to ad­vertise in major national dailies. As soon as their victims get in touch with them through the phone numbers on the adverts, they will devise different means including threat to life to extort money from them.

GRAPHIC CONTENT!! Man lost his face through electrocution

29 year old Seyi Oguntade (pictured left) got electrocuted by a high tension wire on the 27th of March 2014.

Seyi, a former truck off-loader with haulage company Billy James Nigeria LTD in Apapa had gone to offload goods at a company with the driver of the company's truck on that faithful day but when they got there, the company security told them it was too late to offload anything, that they should come back the next morning. Because it was a long journey back to where they were coming from, Seyi and the truck driver decided to spend the night there until morning. They then parked their truck under an electric pole and slept inside. During the night, a high tension wire fell on the truck, electrocuting the men. The truck driver died instantly, Seyi lost his face.
He's currently in LUTH and needs about N10million for reconstructive surgery. Above right is Seyi's mother, wife, his two children and his brother.

SHOCKING!! Man arranged his own kidnap in Enugu, demands for 10m ransom

An Indian national, identified as Mr. Vishwanath Mishal, has been arrested in Enugu for allegedly arranging his own kidnap and demanding N10 million ransom from his employers.

The suspect was said to have travelled to Enugu, where he sent distress calls to his employers in Lagos from someone else’s phone, claiming that he was held hostage in Enugu.

Heavy rainfall destroys properties worth millions in Imo state

The third rain of the year, yesterday, visited parts of Imo State with flooding, destroying property worth millions of Naira in the process.
The rainstorm, which was accompanied by thunderstorm, started in the early hours of the day and continued in Owerri metro-polis till about 6.15am.
Our correspondent, who later monitored the incident when the rain subsided, noticed that parts of Douglas Road, Christ Church Road and some of the adjoining streets in Owerri municipality were completely taken over by flood.
