This is very tragic and the pictures which you will find after the cut is very graphic too, so viewers description is advised...
A member-elect representing Awka South 1 Constituency in Anambra State House Of Assembly, Hon. (Dr.) G. Nnamdi Okafor took to his official facebook page to report this gory incident that happened to a family in Awka. He said he went to the scene of the incident that no single pin was retrived from the house and 4 children sleeping inside the house were burnt to death too....Read from him;
"TRAGEDY AND NEED TO RESPOND
Tragedy struck in Omuko Village Awka in the early hours of Sunday, May 17, 2015 when fire engulfed and burnt a two bedroom house killing 4 children inside sleeping. When I visited the ugly site, I was devastated to see what you'll find in the attached pictures (my apologies for including one of the pics of the dead but I have my reasons). Besides the dead, not even a pin was retrieved from the inferno.
I was able to give the affected young but poor family my widows mite to help them with the burial and transportation to their village in Ebonyi State. Knowing fully well that they would need far more than what I gave them, I scrambled and raised a fresh N100,000.00 from people that donated to help the family with the burial and their immediate needs. My condolences to the family.
I WANT US TO DO MORE."
