A man was convicted of committing an indecent act after he was caught
kissing in the back seat of his vehicle, prosecutors in Saudi Arabia

Now, the man who was accused of kissing the woman in the back seat of his car, was sentenced to serve six months in prison and to 240 lashes. Members of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice arrested the man after catching him kissing the woman in his car on the beach in Dammam.
Prosecutors recommended the expulsion of man from the country to prevent him from committing indecent acts in the future, but the court did not order his deportation. In November, two men were arrested and charged with engaging in exotic behavior after giving out free hugs, according to police reports in Saudi Arabia.
The men decided to offer free hugs in Riyadh, after being inspired by a charity movement. Abdulrahman al-Khayyal went out with a friend wearing a sign that read: “Free Hug.” However, they were quickly arrested by the religious police.
The 21-year-old al-Khayyal and his friend, also announced on Twitter that he would offer free hugs in Tahliya, one of the main shopping streets. However, the two men were arrested and their banners were seized.
