Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson appeared relaxed last night following his suspension from the BBC.
The potty-mouthed telly star is in deep water after getting into a “fracas with a show producer last week,” and allegedly punching him.
But Clarkson doesn't appear to be panicking over the allegations.
He told the Sun last night: "I'm having a nice cold pint and waiting for this to blow over."
And Clarkson joked with his Top Gear colleagues James May and Richard Hammond about the situation on
about the situation on Twitter.
May started off the banter, saying: “No Top Gear this weekend, apparently. How about 633 Squadron instead?”
Hammond responded: “No, surely, Last of the Summer Wine; no one will notice the difference. Job done.”
Clarkson himself joined in the joke writing: “No no no. Where Eagles Dare. Much better.”
He followed this up with: “I did some pretty good war documentaries. They could screen one of those.”
The presenter has yet to make an official comment.
