Four more persons were killed on Monday in the unending reign of deaths in Plateau State, bringing the death toll in the fresh violence in the state to 11.

The family of Lagun Jacobs, and a retired police officer, was killed along with his parents, his brother, wife and two children in an attack by suspected Fulani militias.

The incident was said to be a fallout of the clash that started 24 hours
earlier when two Fulani travellers were allegedly waylaid and killed by
some youths in Barkin Ladi.
The youths were said to be among a mob that was protesting the arrest of
two youths by soldiers attached to the Special Task Force.
