Police have arrested the maid who kidnapped Orekoya kids

The Lagos  state Commissioner of Police has confirmed this morning that Mary Akinloye, the maid who ran off with the Orekoya kids was arrested last night after the release of the children.

The 3 boys of the Orekoyas was kidnapped by Mary, a maid who was emplyed to look after them in Surulere area of Lagos. The commissioner said no ransom was paid for their release, a report that was refuted by the parents of the children. The parents said that they paid a ransom and their kids were found inside a bag at Egbeda area of Lagos.

The parents howerver, did not disclose how much ransom was paid to the kidnappers.

Thank God for this at last. 

Please my good people, let us be more careful. I know how difficult it can be to get a house maid, but let us all try to be a little more meticulous about this.
